St. Michael’s Community Outreach Board
Do you have something to give away, or a need for assistance such as a ride to church or other help? Are you looking for a job or have a job opportunity available at your place of business? You can post these notices on our Community Outreach Board located next to the entrance off of the back parking lot. This Community Outreach Board provides a great way to connect parishioners wishing to volunteer time, talent, or treasures with fellow parishioners who have a need.
The four areas on the board include:
• Requests for Assistance
• Freebies: items in good-to-excellent condition that you wish to give away
• Employment Needed
• Employment Opportunities Available
You simply fill out the appropriate color-coded card and place it in the manila envelope in the rack next to the board. A staff person will record the notice, date it, and hang it on the board. When your request or need has been filled, please remove the card from the board. We have had over 100 notices posted on the board in the past few years. We encourage you to check the board often.
